I've been in the insurance industry since 1987, and working directly with Canadians online since 2006. Before that I held roles in actuarial work and pricing at a life insurance company — which means I understand how these products are built, not just how they're sold.
I operate entirely online, across Canada, and I've served over 3,000 clients. My goal is simple: give business owners the information they need to make a good decision, then help them get covered.
A Pioneer in Online Insurance
In 2006, I pioneered remote insurance processes that were later adopted as industry models across Canada. I operated Canada's first website offering online life insurance quotes — at a time when most brokers still required in-person meetings for everything.
My online distribution model was adopted by several Canadian life insurance carriers as the template for their national guidelines — setting the standard for how all agents in Canada could conduct business remotely.
That background means I've been doing exactly what other brokers are just figuring out — helping clients get the right coverage online, efficiently and without unnecessary friction.
Educator First
I co-authored Beginner's Guide to Saving and Investing for Canadians, rated 4.5 stars on Amazon. I've spoken at the Canadian Personal Finance Conference on life insurance myths, and I've been quoted by two of Canada's most recognized personal finance authors — Preet Banerjee and Gail Vaz-Oxlade.
I hold an Investor's Aid Insurance Expert designation. I believe an informed client makes a better client.
